MQ4E – Federal-Mogul rings New
The CAT 144-5902 intermediate piston ring is designed for select Caterpillar 3406 and 3412 diesel engines. Installed in the second piston ring groove, this ring helps maintain cylinder compression, control engine oil consumption, and prevent combustion gases from entering the crankcase.
Manufactured from durable ductile iron with a chromium-plated surface for wear and corrosion resistance, this piston ring is designed to withstand the demanding operating conditions of heavy-duty diesel engines.
